Kamalahassan-An Artistic Legend

After 25 years I kept Kamal a step ahead of Rajini (Technically) because I was a mad fan of Rajini and I never let him down at any circumstances. My favourite actor is Rajini but my favourite film is "Anbe Sivam" - a master piece of Kamal for Tamil film Industry. Now I love Rajini and I start to admire on Kamal - really as Rajini's dialogue "What a man" he is...

I saw his celebration for 50 years of his victory in film industry. In his golden jubilee period every step which he had encountered leaves a message to Tamil film industry and adds crown to the Tamil cinema. Now his recent film "Unnaipol Oruvan -2009" was a remake of Hindi film " A Wednesday" in Tamil. No one can think about an attempt to remake this film in Tamil since its a fat-less movie which is not widely accepted by Tamil audience. But Kamal did it and added one more crown to Tamil cinemas.

From then he was interviewed in many channels and I never missed any of these chances to hear his words. I was highly impressed by his usage of beautiful Tamil words. I really admire "Where he digs for those words" his experience steals the show. What I admire the most is still he stand for his words. As Rajini says "Sollurthathan seivan, Seiratha than solluvan" where as Kamal lives for it.

So a shift in my brain from Rajini to Kamalhassan.....

But in my mind still "Thalaivar is thalaivar"...
