Crane's Message

It was four passed six at evening, nice time. I was standing on a bridge of a small water passage. I saw a crane venturing alone for its prey and its noddle forced me to watch it without a blink. While watching it my mind was running with as many questions it can.1)How lucky is it? 2)Is a male or female one? 3)How much distance it should have traveled? 4)What it will be thinking? 5)Whether it will share its discovery to its family? 6)Since water is contaminated the bird should not be affected. 7)Where it will be residing?…Like this many questions prevailing in my mind…

First I thought it was having a good feast and it had found a place adequate of small fishes. And up to my knowledge many times I use to stand on that bridge where I had never found a crane. So this crane is the first predator for those fishes. Since it was a summer season the water level is very low on that tiny water flow. And the venture becomes very easy for it..

Second I thought where it should be residing and how it should have discovered this tiny water flow contaminated with chemicals. While these thoughts are running I saw the bird rushing towards its prey even though there is no one to steal its food. My answer is since sun was descending its wings of light. This bird wants to rush to its nest as fast as it can…

Third one about its family, why this bird is alone. Whether it had lost its way or on the way to its nest. As this thought was running I looked the bird carefully to examine its actions to discover its mood. Too my perception there is no sadness or tiredness in its body. So am happy that the bird is free from its sin. Its only aim is to swallow as many fish it can….

Finally the bird flew from there by putting a wink at me. I thought this bird should be some where near to this place and I was eagerly watching it to know where it live. But this bird keeps on flying in the sky and at one point it got vanished. I’m disappointed since am so eager to know its home…

Then I recollected that birds wink at me. Since it flashed my eye for a moment and got my soul attention. I hope it had left a message is “Life is like this for the sake to live we have to travel miles away from our native to venture our prey. But at the end always we will rest in our nest.” Yes its true with my life, soon I should go to my home town. Immaculate love of my family is waiting for me...
