Knowing The Soul

You may think that you already know the soul.At present you are only aware of the outward manifestations of the soul; you do not know the soul.

There is only one way of knowing the soul: to know the soul within yourself. The ignorant think they can know the soul through the senses.But all knowledge through the senses involves the duality of the knower and the known.Knowledge of the soul transcends the duality of the object .

Thus to know the soul within yourself you must rise to a higher level of consciousness. At this higher level you no longer identify yourself with your body; and so physical birth and death cease to matter- you are immortal.

To know the soul is to dwell in perfect light.To be ignorant of the soul in utter darkness. Thus knowledge of the soul within yourself should be the only goal of your life.
